Mason Taylor has the record for most receiving yards for a tight end in LSU history

Mason Taylor spoke to the media after the game about those two long drives and what the LSU record means to him.

You had two drives in the second half that were over 90 yards. What are your thoughts on having to do drives that long?

Mason: It is stressful going on the field and knowing you have to go all that way but I think we did amazing. Someone has to make a play to start that drive and as long as we do that, we’ll be good.

What does the LSU all-time receiving yards by a tight end record mean to you?

Mason: It means a lot. It’s definitely a goal of mine to come in and be an impact to a program like this. I just want to keep working and keep exceeding every single day. I think I have yet to reach my potential so I think as long as I keep working and staying humble and helping this team out, we will reach our team goals.
