After LSU’s week one loss to USC, it was clear that the Tigers’ defense was put in a position it wasn’t ready for. In that game, the offense wasn’t able to execute at its optimal level, putting a lot of pressure on the defense to hold on for as long as it could. Two fourth quarter touchdowns from the Trojans offense, with very little resistance from the LSU defense, was enough to seal that game and the purple and gold would have to learn some tough lessons.
