BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A driver is in custody after a pursuit involving the Louisiana State Police on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Troopers said a traffic stop was initiated after a vehicle was seen going 114 mph in a 60 mph zone. “The vehicle refused to stop and led troopers on a pursuit until it crashed,” LSP said.
State police confirmed that the driver is in custody.
A vehicle was seen in a ditch at Airline Highway and Swamp Road along with LSP units and troopers.
