Baton Rouge residents should get off roads by Monday evening ahead of snow and ice, police say

It’s time for Baton Rouge residents to start hunkering down and getting off the roads for the city’s first snow day since 2018, which could bring up to 6 inches of snow to your doorstep Tuesday.

The latest forecast calls for a chance of snow and freezing rain starting after midnight tonight. On Tuesday during the day, there is a high chance of up to 6-7 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
