Terrebonne Parish Man Pleads Guilty to Distributing Methamphetamine from California to Louisiana

Torrez Drane, 32, from Terrebonne Parish, pleaded guilty to charges related to the distribution of large amounts of methamphetamine. Drane acknowledged purchasing and mailing the drugs from California to Louisiana. His plea was entered last Tuesday, before U.S. District Judge Wendy B. Vitter, as reported by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Drane is scheduled to be sentenced on June 17. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, with the possibility of life imprisonment.
