Documents detail ‘rocky relationship’ between man and stepfather he’s accused of murdering

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – An affidavit obtained by WAFB details a ‘rocky relationship’ between a man and the stepfather he’s accused of killing.

Ian Seghers, 34, used to live with his stepfather, Walter Rowland in East Baton Rouge. Now, he’s accused in the first-degree murder of 66-year-old Rowland in connection to his death in March.

The arrest affidavit for Seghers also details a large chunk of the initial investigation into what police allege happened, including where Baton Rouge police believe a murder may have taken place…
