A Prairieville woman has been arrested by agents with Attorney General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation on multiple charges.
40-year-old Priscilla Jackson, of Oakview Drive in Prairievile, was arrested on May 8, 2025, for:
- 1 Count of LRS 14.68.2 — Unauthorized use of SNAP benefits (Felony)
- 1 Count of LRS 14:67(B)(1) – Theft over $25,000 (Felony)
- 1 Count of LRS 14:70.9(4)(5) – Government Benefits Fraud (Felony)
On November 17, 2022, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation received a criminal referral and case assignment to investigate Priscilla Jackson on behalf of the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) Medicaid benefits regarding allegations of fraud.
During an internal review, LDH Medicaid Recipient Fraud Unit received information alleging Jackson withheld personal information, such as her marriage and her husband’s income, to LDH and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for purposes to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)…
