Baton Rouge woman charged after 3-year-old found with cocaine in their system

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge woman is accused of using crack cocaine around a 3-year-old, which led to the child ingesting the substance.

The same child was in a vehicle driven by Rashida Cobbs, 49, while she was under the influence of the drug, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD).

BRPD said the 3-year-old was not secured in the vehicle. According to law enforcement, Cobbs got into an accident, which resulted in the child being hurt…
