Baton Rouge woman arrested after 3-year-old tests positive for crack cocaine, police say

A Baton Rouge woman was arrested at a hospital after her 3-year-old tested positive for crack cocaine in their system, according to police.

The mother admitted to smoking a crack cocaine cigar near her child at a friend’s residence before getting into a single-vehicle accident, according to a probable cause statement from Baton Rouge police.
