23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office reports guilty pleas for July 14-18

The 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, which includes the parishes of Ascension, Assumption and St. James, reported guilty pleas during the week of July 14-18.

Ascension Parish:

  1. Adria Corio, 9987 Spur Rd. Denham Springs, LA, age 43, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  2. Deandre Thompson, 10324 Celtic Dr. Baton Rouge, LA, age 41, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. The said sentence is to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
  3. Raymond Beckman, 10253 T Boy Rd. Saint Amant, LA, age 39, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  4. Naquan Coleman, 1033 S Sky Ave Gonzales, LA, age 27, pled guilty to Inciting a Riot and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  5. Eddie Furby, age 40, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  6. Wendy Poole, 219 Country Line Rd. Willis, TX, age 55, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $5,000 or More, but Less than $25,000 and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  7. Darrin Regira, 43233 Meadow Grove Dr. Prairieville, LA, age 29, pled guilty to Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 5 years supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Philip Prescott, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.

Assumption Parish:

  1. Rachael Daigle, 137 Riverbend St. Pierre Part, LA, age 57, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  2. Addie Breaux, 100 St. Anne St. Pierre Part, LA, age 43, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
  3. Tristan Williams, 151 Marshall Lane Napoleonville, LA, age 18, pled guilty to Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1-year supervised probation.
