During July 2025, Gonzales Police Department Narcotics Agents, working in conjunction with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, conducted a drug investigation into Neo Trenel Morris for the distribution of methamphetamine.
On July 9, 2025, GPD Agents executed a search warrant at Morris’s residence located at 1612 N Coontrap Rd. #43, Gonzales, LA, and simultaneously served an arrest warrant for Distribution of Schedule II CDS. During the search, agents recovered additional contraband that further confirmed the ongoing drug distribution activity.
Neo Trenel Morris, age 41, was arrested and charged with:
- PWITD Schedule I (Heroin – approx. 38g)
- Distribution of Schedule II (Meth)
- Possession of Schedule II (Meth – approx. 4g)
- Possession of Schedule IV (Gabapentin – 6 dosage units)
- Possession of Marijuana – 2nd Offense (approx. 4g)
- Operation of a Clandestine Lab
- Obstruction of Justice
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Fugitive Warrant – Other LA Jurisdiction
