Renovated Main Street Market set to reopen in downtown Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A renovated Main Street Market in downtown Baton Rouge is set to reopen sometime in the fall.

The building has been closed while it undergoes a major overhaul. One of the major additions is a new coffee shot that will feature seasonal produce and artisan goods from local farmers and food producers.

“The renovation of Main Street Market is an exciting time for the downtown community,” said Darlene Adams Rowland, executive director of BREADA. “We took this opportunity to rethink the entire space. We improved both the flow and function as well as how it reflects BREADA’s mission of connecting the community with local food and farmers.
