BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Red Stick Farmers Market in Baton Rouge on Aug. 2 will highlight hardworking farmers in our area and give some shoppers a chance to double their SNAP benefits.
The event celebrates National Farmers Market Week and is a chance to say “thank you” to hardworking farmers and food producers. Hours for the market are 8 a.m. to noon.
