East Baton Rouge corrections officer fired, accused of drug dealing

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A corrections officer was arrested Wednesday, July 30, following an investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO).

Jevon Winfrey, 23, of Baton Rouge, was charged with malfeasance in office, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II drugs, and transactions involving proceeds from drug transactions.
