BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police officers are investigating four separate shootings that all occurred on August 3. Two were deadly, and the other two left multiple people injured, including a minor.
The first deadly shooting happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning on Byron Avenue. Homicide detectives say Frank Johnson, 41, was shot in the 3200 block of Byron Avenue and was taken to the hospital where he died. Detectives say the suspect, or suspects, and motive are unknown.
Later that day, around 4:40 p.m., police say 23-year-old Zachary Lewis was shot at 8001 Jefferson Hwy. He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries. No suspect or motive has been identified…
