Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Scotlandville, 1414 Sora St., Baton Rouge, will celebrate its 109th church anniversary at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
This year’s theme is “Celebrating God’s Goodness” from Psalm 34:8. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Lamar Batiste, pastor of Mt. Gillion Baptist Church.
