‘That night changed my client’s life:’ Settlement reached between state trooper and man she shot during traffic stop

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A $9 million settlement has been reached between a Baton Rouge man and a state trooper who shot the man during a traffic stop seven years ago, paralyzing him.

The settlement is one of the largest settlements in state history related to police brutality.
