Officers from across the country come to honor Baton Rouge police sergeant

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Law enforcement officers from across the country gathered Saturday to honor Baton Rouge Police Department Sergeant Caleb Eisworth.

Many traveled for hours, and some even came from out of state to pay their respects. This support means more than honoring one man. It shows that law enforcement brotherhood goes beyond city limits.

Mark Hodges from the Jackson Police Department said, “This officer and I have been friends for years. We met when I started riding a motorcycle.”…
