BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – In an extraordinarily rare move, a 19th Judicial District Judge has held two public defenders and an East Baton Rouge prosecutor in contempt of court after their actions during a recent murder trial.
Any potential punishments will be decided at a later date. While unlikely, the punishments could include jail time.
