Baton Rouge Piccadilly restaurant closes after 65 years

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Tuesday is the last day open for a Piccadilly restaurant that has served Baton Rouge diners for 65 years.

Piccadilly Holdings LLC confirmed with Louisiana First News that the Plank Road location in the Delmont Village will permanently close after Aug. 26.

“This decision was not made lightly. We always consider a store closure our very last option, but it is sometimes necessary as we navigate the ever-changing environment of the restaurant industry,” the company said…
