BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge metropolitan area has been recognized as one of the nation’s top regions for economic growth. Site Selection magazine placed Baton Rouge in the top 10 U.S. metros for job creation and capital investment.
The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) said the rankings come from the Conway Projects Database and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Maps Dashboard. They cover data from January 2021 to July 2025.
Metrics included:
- Job creation linked to new projects
- Capital expenditures
- Federal funding data
