In a press release from LDWF, we learn that on September 1, 2025, enforcement agents, Sgt. Joseph Melton and Sgt. Toby Meyers, arrested Tandy Lemay, 52, of Shreveport, for alleged forgery and filing false public records in Caddo and East Baton Rouge parishes.
Lemay has been charged with 11 counts of forgery in Caddo Parish, nine counts of filing false public records and one count of computer fraud in East Baton Rouge Parish.
LDWF’s report indicates that agents served search warrants on businesses operated by Lemay in May of 2024 following complaints and information about vessels he sold with false information.
