It has been a humid and sticky summer in southeast Louisiana, but a small reprieve is on the way.
A cool front is expected to move over New Orleans, Baton Rouge and the Mississippi Coast Saturday and pass through by Sunday morning, WDSU meteorologist Derek Sibley said Friday. When the front passes, expect a drier heat Monday and Tuesday, forecasters said.
