New food and drinks on the block

Mid City Beer Garden, 3808 Government St., Baton Rouge, has new drinks on the menu for the fall. Try the “Practical Magic” mocktail with orange, and the apple butter espresso martini.

Speaking of new drinks … City Roots, 1509 Government St., Baton Rouge, is featuring new coffees on the menu, including a banana bread cold brew, apple chai latte and kettle corn latte.

Capitol Coffee at The Queen Baton Rouge, 1717 River Park Blvd., has a fall menu that includes pumpkin-spiced hot and iced coffees, while 1717 Kitchen + Cocktails has the rum blitz, touchdown Tennessee tea and other cocktails…
