Gov. Landry, first lady, District attorney Clayton visit injured deputy at hospital

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Governor Jeff Landry, First Lady Sharon Landry, and District Attorney Tony Clayton visited Captain Brett Stassi in the hospital following Monday’s tragic shooting.

Landry said, “I let him know that our entire state is praying for him and will be here to support him every step of his recovery. Our continued prayers are also with the family of Deputy Riley and the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office. God bless the Thin Blue Line.”
