Baton Rouge children’s store closes after clothes rack caught fire, officials say

A Baton Rouge store that sold gently used children’s clothing, shoes and toys will close temporarily after someone set fire to clothing inside the store on Tuesday, the store franchise owners said on social media.

“Thankfully, everyone is safe — but the incident caused enough damage that we will need to temporarily close while we clean, repair and build,” the owners of Once Upon a Child off Airline Highway, near Seigen, said in their post.
