LIVINGSTON — The man accused of killing Walker High senior Blakeleigh Weems in a New Year’s crash has now changed his plea.
Shawn Robertson appeared in a Livingston Parish courtroom on Oct. 15, 2025, for what was scheduled to be a pre-trial conference. Instead, he withdrew his previous not guilty plea and entered a guilty plea.
Robertson pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, second-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and no seat belt.
