BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Disgraced ex-Baton Rouge officer Donald Steele Jr. stood before District Judge Don Johnson on Thursday and learned his fate.
Steele Jr., now convicted of malfeasance tied to an alleged kidnapping, was sentenced to one year in prison. Judge Johnson required Steele Jr. to serve 6 months of that time and suspended the other 6 months of the sentence.
