Woman accused of taking part in shootout that injured blind man in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge woman was charged in connection with a shooting that left a blind man injured on Sept. 8, 2025.

Hope Cornelius, 35, was charged with principals to attempted second-degree murder, and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
