BATON ROUGE — Just days after a Baton Rouge mother came forward saying her daughter’s grave at Winnfield Funeral Home could no longer be found, another family has stepped forward with a story that raises even more questions about record keeping and accountability at the cemetery.
This time, it’s about Ryan Conrad Alexander, who was buried at Winnfield in 2020. His sister, Madonna Adams, tells UWK that for the last five years, her family has struggled to locate his exact resting place.
“We’ve been through so much trying to find my brother,” Adams told UWK. “Every time we go, something is different. The markers are gone, there’s fresh dirt, and the staff can’t even tell us where he is. It’s been five years, and we still don’t know for sure where my brother is buried.”
