From a barn to a ball field: Initial list of proposed Baton Rouge high school upgrades released

Fifty-seven projects at 14 Baton Rouge public high schools have made the initial cut to tap into about $40 million in proceeds from an upcoming bond sale, but a final list won’t be ready for a couple of months as school leaders update cost estimates.

The current list calls for upgrades for a variety of school spaces ranging from a dance studio to a commercial kitchen to a track.
