Pediatrician reminds parents about protecting kids from potentially poisonous items

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A doctor is reminding parents about protecting kids from potentially poisonous items.

According to Baton Rouge Clinic Pediatrician Dr. Susan Bankston, dangerous items could be lurking in a home’s bathroom, kitchen, or bedroom. Some potentially harmful materials are cleaning chemicals, medications, vaping devices, marijuana edibles, and batteries.
