NEW ROADS, La. (WAFB) – The Point Coupee Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WAFB that a New Roads police officer driving an ATV struck a pregnant woman and her husband at the Harvest Festival just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
According to officials, the woman was taken to a hospital with injuries. Her condition has not been released at this time.
Authorities have not released additional details about the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.…
