Some restaurants are stepping up and filling the need. At Jabby’s Pizza, when you show your EBT card, you will receive a free pizza, and it’s all thanks to Albina Brahimi, the owner of Albina’s Catering and co-owner of Jabby’s Pizza.
Brahimi is a refugee from Kosovo who experienced hunger and wartime in her childhood before she came to America. She started the “No Kids Go Hungry Week” campaign as a way to not only give back to her community but also keep the promise she made to herself to ensure she does everything she can for those in need…
