Free pet food pantry helps Baton Rouge, Livingston Parish families in need this November

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana is starting a Free Pet Food Pantry in November. This pantry will support families in Livingston and Baton Rouge facing financial hardships.

Pet food and basic supplies will be given out during the group’s scheduled adoption events this month. The rescue said supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and numbered tickets will be handed out at the start of each event to help with distribution.

Rescue Rehome Repeat said the goal is to help families keep their pets healthy and at home during tough times.
