Marines celebrate 250th birthday with Louisiana ceremony

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The U.S. Marine Corps celebrated 250 years of service Sunday with ceremonies across Louisiana recognizing the military branch’s history of sacrifice and dedication.

Gov. Jeff Landry joined the celebration, emphasizing the Marines’ role in protecting American freedoms.
