BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Investigators arrested a man accused of selling fentanyl and cocaine in the Baton Rouge area after a months-long investigation.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said agents surveilled homes in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, St. Gabriel and Port Allen during October and November. Among items seized by law enforcement were 4.36 ounces, or 1,237 lethal dosages, of fentanyl/cocaine compound.
Gonzales police investigate suspected drug lab, man in critical condition
The suspect was identified as Rodney “Nunu” Davis, 28, who deputies said is a member of Muscle Gang. Davis was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on Nov. 12. He faces charges in Livingston and East Baton Rouge parishes.
Davis faces distribution of fentanyl and distribution of cocaine charges out of East Baton Rouge Parish. He also faces charges in Livingston Parish, including two counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule II drugs, and one count each of operation of a clandestine fentanyl lab, CDS in the presence of a juvenile and possession of drug paraphernalia…
