Deputies responded to the Good Times Bar (Denham Springs) in reference to a disturbance between patrons around 11:30 p.m.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, “A deputy was already in the immediate area and heard the gunshots. He was able to quickly respond. He saw the suspected shooter – gun in hand – flee on foot into the nearby wooded area. The suspect – identified as Timothy Parks – was quickly apprehended. The firearm was also recovered. No injuries have been reported. But, one vehicle did received damage from the shots that were fired by Parks.”
