BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Voters will decide Saturday on three tax measures that are part of Mayor Sid Edwards’ THRIVE plan for the parish.
The THRIVE EBR plan includes renewals for the public library system, mosquito abatement, and Council on Aging taxes. The plan would move funds from each tax into the general fund to address the parish’s budget shortfall, including $52 million from the library reserve fund.
