BATON ROUGE — With thousands of Louisiana families still struggling because of delays and disruptions in SNAP benefits, Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (JSM) through its home church, Family Worship Center, is stepping in to help. The ministry announced it will host a major “Community Blessing Day: Turkey Giveaway” distributing 1,000 free turkeys to residents experiencing food insecurity across the Greater Baton Rouge area.
The large-scale event will be held Tuesday, November 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the campus of Family Worship Center, located at 8919 World Ministry Ave. (Bluebonnet Blvd.) JSM is partnering with Ralph’s Supermarket to make the giveaway possible.
