LOUISIANA — Law enforcement is investigating a bomb threat called into Glasgow Middle School Thursday morning, prompting the evacuation of students and staff, officials said.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System reported that the threat was received around 9 a.m. Students were temporarily relocated to Liberty High School while authorities conducted a sweep of the middle school campus.
School officials notified parents, saying, “Students and staff are safe and accounted for. Out of an abundance of caution, our team immediately initiated our safety protocols and evacuated the building. The School Drug Task Force and law enforcement partners are actively investigating the call.”…
