BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — An employee at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in St. Gabriel was arrested after surveillance video allegedly showed her kissing an inmate.
According to a probable cause report, deputies with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation into an incident on Nov. 20. A video allegedly showed an inmate grabbing Master Sgt. Kimira Hughes, 23, by her cheeks and kissing her on the lips.
Hughes told investigators that the inmate grabbed her on the cheeks but kissed her on the forehead, the report states…
