Woman arrested after Baton Rouge standoff convicted in Georgia man’s death

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A woman who was arrested after a standoff in Baton Rouge in 2023 was convicted in connection with the death of a missing man in Georgia.

According to Alcovy Judicial Circuit District Attorney Randy McGinley, Danetta Knoblauch was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, arson in the first degree and concealing the death of another after a Newton County jury trial.
