BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A failed traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon led to a chase involving two vehicles in Baton Rouge.
The Louisiana State Police said a trooper tried to initiate a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 190 near Scenic Highway after witnessing a traffic violation, but a chase started after the driver did not stop. The chase took place on multiple state highways and city streets.
