The Lane Kiffin story has reached national news and then some. Government officials have even spent time commenting on the head coach leaving Ole Miss for LSU. Which, in fairness to the Tigers, seeing Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry involved in this coaching cycle is nothing new.
But this time, a lot of LSU fans are likely on Landry’s side when it comes to his latest tweet. Landry was firing back at the Mississippi Governor. Tate Reeves quote-tweeted Eli Manning, who was originally joking about running into Kiffin as he was leaving Oxford for the airport, saying “The world needs 1) More Eli 2) Less Lane.”
As mentioned, Landry and Reeves will get to see each other sometime next fall inside Vaught Hemingway Stadium. Ole Miss welcomes LSU to Oxford in what should make up one of the more hostile atmospheres in college football history.
