Baton Rouge woman arrested, accused of driving getaway vehicle after shooting involving men working on fence

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A woman was arrested for her alleged involvement in a shooting in Baton Rouge.

According to an affidavit, Baton Rouge police officers were called to N. 24th Street about a reported shooting in May. When they arrived, officers found three male victims outside with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

BRPD investigators spoke with the victims, who said they were installing a fence for a nonprofit organization when two unknown male subjects asked to help with the fence. The duo then pulled out guns and demanded money. After stating they didn’t have any money, the two men opened fire and fled the area…
