Developer of $11M Baton Rouge project gets $500K bond on financial crime charges

A judge Wednesday set a $500,000 bond for the developer of an $11 million housing project in Baton Rouge who is accused of financial crimes.

Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office last week charged Bradly Brown with theft over $25,000, bank fraud, illegal transfer of monetary funds, money laundering and filing false public records. Brown’s firm, KMT Holdings and Development LLC, was approved for $6 million in federal funds through East Baton Rouge Parish to build affordable housing in Scotlandville.
