BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A shooting victim in Baton Rouge speaks out, months after a suspect involved in the shooting was arrested.
In May, three men were building a fence on 24th and Laurel Street when gunmen walked up and changed everything. The job was done, but the emotional scars remain, and now the woman accused of helping these men escape is in police custody.
“I told him, like, ‘I don’t play with guns.’ I crouched down, and I checked the level of the fence post. I set the level down, and at that time, my friend grabbed the post to hold it straight and right. Whenever I set the level down, I felt the gun touch the back of my head,” said Robby McKee…
