BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A stepfather was charged after a video showed him running over his stepson with a vehicle on Friday, Dec. 12, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Recco Spears, 32, of Baton Rouge, was charged with attempted second-degree murder and simple criminal damage to property.
BRPD officers arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the ground. He was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Detectives initiated an investigation and found two damaged fences, a black bumper, tire marks, car parts, and an ice cream truck which was hit by a vehicle, BRPD said…
