BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A federal grand jury in the Middle District of Louisiana has indicted a man accused of assaulting U.S. Border Patrol agents with a vehicle earlier this month.
According to court records, Evodio Merida-Tavera is charged with assaulting a federal officer. The incident happened on Dec. 11 while Border Patrol agents were performing their official duties in the 5400 block of Bluebonnet Boulevard.
